The March 30 kickoff event at the 3/8-mile clay oval in southwest Kansas gets under way at the special time of 4:00 p.m., with pit gates opening at noon and the grandstands open at 2:00 p.m.

Saturday’s event features the track’s five championship classes including the IMCA Modifieds, United Wireless IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, Thunder Cars and Hornets.

The opening leg of the championship chase on Saturday will be the first of 13 scheduled rounds of action for the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Modifieds and IMCA Stock Cars with ten scheduled events for the Thunder Cars and eight nights of action on the inner asphalt oval for the Hornets.

Eighteen overall nights of action at Dodge City Raceway Park over the course of 2013 will also include several special events including the TORC Off Road Trucks on April 12-13, the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars on July 5-6, a pair of $1,200-to-win IMCA Modified tilts on May 3-4 along with USAC Southwest Sprint Cars on August 23-24 and four rounds of URSS Sprint Car competition along the way.
