It might surprise you but to those that know him well it was no surprise at all.  The "ICEMAN" Brandon Fisher has won many a race.  He started racing with the micro midgets and then stepped up to a full Sprint Car. 

Brandon, with his cool nature and friendly attitude is a hit with the fans and now they have some news about their favorite.  Brandon and his father Chuck have been busy at their race shop in Ensign.  They are doing some body work, rebuilding and refurbishing getting ready for race season.  Brandon is coming back to the most competitive class there is and it is not Sprint Cars. 

Brandon for the 2010 season will be in an IMCA STOCK CAR!  Yep that's right Brandon and his dad decided last year they were going to dive into this class, "Been hurt a few times in the sprint car and this class seemed to be the most competitive so we picked up a stock car from Bart Baker and we are getting it ready for this next season,"said Brandon. 

Many of us have joked to Brandon about cutting the fenders off so he can see his front tires like he was used to with the midgets and sprint cars.  He smiles and shrug it off and their is a cool ness to this guy and you can tell he is coming to win this class. 

Brandon has never driven a stock car before, and never had an IMCA license but has won many races in other types of racing but guess what he can go after IMCA Rookie of the Year honors because of this is all new to him.  That is almost funny when you think about it, one of the best sprint car drivers to ever come out of this area could win Rookie of the Year with a Stock Car. 

Winning is going to be a task at DCRP no matter how much experience anyone has with the talent we have here every week.  Bart Baker, Cole Wilson, Brian Sauser, Mel Man, Chuck Tauylor, the Wadel brothers, and a whole lot more stand in the way and each are a force to be reckoned with. 

Glad to see Brandon back with a steering wheel in his hands and honestly I am glad to see him in a stock car, this is gonna be fun!
