The Schedule is Modified... Again!
The phone lines were AGAIN buzzing as Joe Bellm director of the BLOOD, SWEAT, and TEARS (BST) IMCA Modified Series and Ed Beckley of DCRP rescheduled the IMCA Sanctioned BST Modified Races to one night Saturday June 14th. After we found out that a nearby track was already having a Modified race we felt it was the right thing to do and hopefully that means another IMCA SANCTIONED track in Southwest Kansas.

The IMCA officials and Beckley have worked together making IMCA Sanctioning a reality and with the addition of big race for the Modifieds and the Series to rely on was the BST. "IMCA's Bret Root and BST's Joe Bellm are joined together to make big things happen for the IMCA Modifieds, so why would we not want to be part of a class we strongly believe in?" said Beckley.

The first scheduled BST race for DCRP will be Saturday night June 14, and we have a $2,000 to win race for the Modifieds. With IMCA Sanctioning and this huge race, all IMCA rules and BST rules and procedures are in effect. The big bucks are up and it is time there was a big show for IMCA Modifieds and now with BST bringing their traveling series with major sponsorships and contingency availabilities officials expect a huge turnout of Modifieds and race fans to be in Dodge City.

Racers can expect to see entry blanks and more information soon on both the DCRP website and the BST website.

Plan now to see Southwest Kansas' biggest IMCA Modified race on Saturday night, June 14, 7:30 pm at Dodge City Raceway Park You can almost feel the ground a shaking!
