It's going to be a great season as witnessed by the amazing amount of cars that showed up for play day on Saturday, April 19. We had Sprint Cars, Modifieds, Stock Cars, Thunder Cars, Jr Sprints, go-carts, and a Legend Car and over 300 people in the pits that hung out, took pictures, and generally seemed to be having a great time on such a pretty Saturday.
Thanks again to my crew for all their hard work. The brother and sister Bryan and Heather Ghumm have been great help. Brian is the grounds keeper and worked many hard hours to get everything running and Heather has done an exceptional job selling sponsors and getting the track stuff ready to go and has been a great sidekick. Their help made it possible to get this place going again so soon. Big thanks to Murphy Tractor and Maupin Truck Sales for their use of equipment for track prep, and also to Dodge City Powersports for the use of the two 4-wheelers.
We hope to see you at the DCRP!
