BST Modified Nationals was a great race this past Saturday July 24th.

The Blood Sweat and Tears Larry Shaw Modified Series is rated as the top traveling IMCA National Series and founder Joe Bellm has assembled a group of racers throughout the midwest and Rocky Mountain region that is the best of the best.

Will Brack is one of them and he showed our Kansas guys a thing or two. He found the sweet spot on the high banks of DCRP and went to the top next to the concrete and motored around the top to tak the win.

Finishing second was Brendon Gemmill who recently was rated in the top 10 of IMCA drivers. His Dad Troy Gemill would finish 3rd while the whole time he had the best seat in the house for watching the battle between those two.

In the other classes it was Brian Sauser that won a crash marred shortened lap race in the UNITED WIRELESS IMCA Stock Car class. Brian was happy his parents who were there for his first win of the year happened to be here tonight to see him repeat that.

In the Hornets once again the Post Man Dave Guinn would drive past nearly all the other Hornets to finish first. Lampe was second one Sprott was third.

The NAPA Thunder Cars was a good race that saw Reagon Sellard put his car in victory lane over Brett Copeland and Andy Barton. He and had a great race with Copeland but still managed to win.

More when Gina gets the finishes and points done but it was a great race night even snook it in with rain all around us.
