Championship Chases Heating Up at DCRP

Lonnie Wheatley, DODGE CITY, Kan. (May 3, 2019) – With a pair of nights in the books at Dodge City Raceway Park, the championship chases are beginning to shape up going into Saturday night’s card atop the 3/8-mile clay oval in southwest Kansas.

Saturday’s card is headlined by the $1,000-to-win IMCA Stock Car Shootout presented by Winner’s Circle Feedyards and Factory Direct Fireworks along with the Precise Racing Products DCRP Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Modifieds and IMCA Hobby Stocks.

Angel Munoz and Dakota Sproul both look to keep their streaks of perfection in the win column alive Saturday night in the Stock Car and Sport Modifed ranks respectively with the balance of the points chases continuing to take form.

Saturday’s racing action goes green at 7:30 p.m. with adult admission only $12.  It kicks off a weekend double that also includes the inaugural event atop the newly-constructed Little DCRP clay oval on Sunday afternoon for Micro Sprints and Karts.
