Five Big Weekends Coming Up at DCRP!June 25, 2019

(June 25, 2019) – After a weekend breather following another rousing rendition of the Lubbock Wrecker Service DCRP 305 Sprint Car Nationals that attracted more than 40 competitors on June 13-15, Dodge City Raceway Park is set to kick things into high gear in the coming weeks.
The state-of-the-art dirt track racing facility in southwest Kansas kicks off the first of five consecutive weeks of racing action with this Saturday night’s Mid-Season Championships atop the 3/8-mile clay oval.
The ensuing run of events that culminates with the always popular Driver & Fan Appreciation night on Friday, July 26, includes a variety of racing action that everyone can find intriguing.
The next five weekends at Dodge City Raceway Park look like this…
Dodge City Raceway Park kicks off the run of five consecutive weekends with Saturday’s Mid-Season Championships featuring a full card of Precise Racing Products DCRP Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Hobby Stocks.
Race fans and racers alike can round out the weekend with Sunday’s fourth round of Micro Sprint and Kart action atop the 1/7-mile Little DCRP clay oval.
It’s a change of pace on Saturday, July 6, with the Second Annual Dodge City 200 Enduro featuring strictly stock cars battling it out for 200 laps around the 3/8-mile clay oval before the night is rounded out with a monster fireworks show.
Then the Micros and Karts are back at it on Sunday atop the Little DCRP clay oval.
Late Models invade Dodge City for the only tine in 2019 as the Sooner Late Model Series makes its debut atop the 3/8-mile DCRP clay oval with IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Hobby Stocks in action as well.
Championship chase action continues for all five classes including Sprint Cars, Modifieds, Sport Modifieds, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks on Saturday night, July 20, with the Micros and Karts mixing it up for the sixth time on Sunday afternoon.
Dodge City Raceway Park puts the wraps on July with the annual Driver & Fan Appreciation Night that packs the stands for a full card of championship chase racing action along with a multitude of giveaways for the drivers that distribute tickets to friends, family and fans.
